Dinner on the Track 2019 Wrap Up

Admin Naz - Thursday, August 22, 2019

On Thursday, May 30,2019 Nazareth held a benefit at Busch Stadium. Our " Dinner on the Track" attendee list was over 240 Nazareth supporters gathered for an evening of fine dining, a live auction, music, special guests and fun. The weather was great and dinner was enjoyed outdoors served at tables located on the warning track between the two dugouts! What a thrill to experience this venue!

"Our host & special guest was Carol Daniel, weekday host on KMOX, the Voice of St. Louis."

Another highlight was the guest appearance from St. Louis's very own Fredbird, the mascot of the St. Louis Cardinals, which is always fun-filled and anything can happen!

Thanks to the generosity of our donors over $117,000 was raised (a 29% increase from our 2018 Busch event) for the continuing renovation of the Sr. Mary Timlin Room. The Sr. Mary Timlin Room was our on-site location for large social gatherings and entertainment. We very much look forward to again using this space for residents, their families, and volunteers for events and special occasions such as Mother’s Day, appreciation lunches, and Halloween parties (one of our most popular events). Once restored, this gathering space will bring laughter and happy memories to our residents, families, volunteers, and staff for years to come!

As part of the fun at Busch Stadium, we held a raffle open to all for a 60-inch Smart TV! We had participation from residents, their family members, visitors, and Nazareth Living Center associates, in addition to those who attended the event. Thanks to all who purchased tickets for the drawing! The winner of the Smart TV was present that evening and was very excited to be named the winner. Winning is always fun and a "surprise" is so delightful, enjoy your 60-inch Smart TV.

We express our sincere appreciation to all sponsors, donors, auction bidders, and participants who contributed funds, time, and effort to this event. BSI Constructors once again served as a major sponsor and catalyst for many other sponsors and donors. Kathy Aschenbrenner, whose mother lived at Nazareth for over 5 years, also sponsored the event at the highest level. Altogether 22 companies and past donors served as table sponsors. The entire event was organized, promoted, and supported by a planning committee of 11 Nazareth volunteers. We want to extend a A BIG THANKS to ALL who made this another successful spring fundraising experience
