The facts are simple regarding the aging of the U.S. population.
- The over-65 population will rise from 12 percent of Americans in 2000 to 19 percent by 2030.
- The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services has estimated that 70 percent of us who reach the age of 65 will need some form of long-term care.
We Are Responding to the Need
A recent market study indicated a need for additional assisted living memory care throughout the area; it is at a critical level in South County St. Louis. The new facility will feature social and family gathering rooms to help more residents maintain their health while living in beautiful, private rooms.
The Alzheimer’s Association is consulting with us on the design of the space and the memory care programing.Construction has begun this fall and completion is scheduled for February 2017.
